How submissions are reviewed
Nothing published on this site is auto-approved. Every story, document and correction passes two people before it is visible.
01 · Two-reader rule
Two moderators read each submission independently. Disagreement escalates to the working committee rather than being resolved by whoever reads it last.
02 · What we check
That it is the submitter's own account, that no community or individual is targeted, that attached documents are what they claim to be, and that identifying details of third parties are removed.
03 · What gets declined
Secondary sources presented as primary, screenshots without provenance, anything unverifiable, and anything that reads as a grievance against a group rather than a system.
04 · Your final say
You approve the edited text before publication. You can withdraw it at any time afterwards, with no reason required and no follow-up email.
05 · Appeals
A declined submission can be appealed once, to a committee member who was not one of the two readers. The decision and its reason are sent to you in writing.
