“Reservation exists to eradicate poverty.”
Fact
It was designed as a representation tool — to break monopolies on power created by social exclusion. Poverty alleviation is a separate policy question, and treating the two as the same is how both end up badly measured.

Fact
Entry thresholds differ; qualifying standards do not. Every candidate sits the same university examinations and training protocols to graduate or hold office. Conflating entry with exit is the most common error in this debate.

Available data shows heavy concentration of benefit within a comparatively established layer of each category. Without a uniform exit rule, first-generation learners and the rural poor of the same communities are crowded out.
