What we will not take
A movement demanding published data has no standing unless it publishes its own. These are the funding rules, and they are not negotiable.
01 · No political money
No money from any political party or a body controlled by one.
02 · No anonymous corporate donations
Anonymous corporate donations of any size are declined.
03 · No strings
No contribution conditional on what we publish or whom we name is accepted, at any amount.
04 · No dependence
No more than 5% of annual income may come from a single donor.
05 · Foreign contributions
Foreign contributions cannot be accepted without FCRA registration; the donate flow asks about Indian residency and says so plainly. Audited accounts and the finance breakdown are published on the Transparency page.
